Setting Yourself Up in the Sizzling, Sunny Surfs of San Diego

SanDiego panoramaWith access to the cool blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, delicious restaurants, and thrilling attractions, the city of San Diego is loaded with fun events and things to get into for you and the entire family. So hurry up and get those moving boxes emptied out; plenty of fun awaits you in this city.

Since you’re probably not too familiar with this city, you don’t want to risk getting lost while trying to check out all the city has to offer. So why not take one of the cities famed trolleys around town and put your feet up and relax while a tour guide takes you to some of the city’s most epic locations? The Old Town Trolley Tours lets you do just that.

The tours may have taken on a toll on you and the kids stomach’s, so why not stop by one of the cities’ 24 major parks and have a nice picnic? Every one of the parks is well-designed for families to relax and grub out, with stations featuring benches, and even pet-friendly zones so you can bring your family pet along. It is highly recommended that you check out Seagrove Park in Del Mar, as if offers a majestic view of the Pacific Ocean. And if you’re lucky enough, you can catch a beautiful sunset over the waters.

By now, your children may be tired of spending quality time with the family, so why not put a couple of bucks in their pockets and let them go shopping on the waterfront? From shoe and clothing stores to souvenir shops, the waterfront shops offer something for everyone.

And as new residents of San Diego, you should take some time out to check out the world-famous Sea World’s Blue Horizon, a tantalizing water show that features dolphins, birds, and pilot whales, along with a spectacular acrobatic performance. If you have younger children, they’ll especially enjoy the Sesame Street display with stars that are sure to evoke memories of your children like Elmo, Bert, Ernie, and Big Bird.

If you really want to make your mark in your new city in style, you can check out the breathtaking Catalina Island. You can either take a 15-minute chopper ride or an hour boat ride; either way, once you get to this beautiful island locale, you’ve got friendly tourists who are all waiting to give you a tour of the grand estate. Or if you want, you can even rent out a bike or golf cart and see what the many wonders of the island yourself.

These are just a few of the many exciting attractions that the city of San Diego offers its new residents. But in order to experience these adventures, you’re going to have to move here first. So what are you waiting for?
