One of the best ways to upgrade you residence, regardless if you’ve lived there for 20 years or if it is a house you are planning on moving into soon, is by invigorating the appearance of your patio. Look around and analyze how much space you have and what you wish to do with the space available? Would you be adding a pool any time soon? Do you have kids and they have a playground or are you simply searching for an area to have small get-togethers and relax?

If you want a personal area where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors while avoiding the sun and rain that Mother Nature sometimes bestows upon us, consider building a gazebo in your patio. Not only will they look fabulous, they can also be personalized to your liking and to match your homes layout.

There are various materials to choose from:

  1. Concrete- If you want something permanent and undoubtedly resistant, opt for a concrete gazebo. They are sturdy and will provide you with the 360 view you want without worrying about wearing out or getting rusty. You may also choose to paint these concrete gazebos to your liking in order to match with your home.
  2. Wood- Although they tend to be the most traditional ones, they also require the most attention and maintenance.
  3. Metal- Are very resistant to weather inclemencies. They also come in a variety of colors for you to choose from.
  4. Vinyl- This is the ultimate favorite because of its affordability. They are usually the cheapest ones and require minimal maintenance.

Look for pictures and sketches of gazebos that you like. Measure the area you have available in your patio and determine if you will be able to build it on your own or if you will need professional assistance. Before you move and have your professional movers relocate your belongings in your patio, determine where you will be building this gazebo. Once you’ve determined this, they can go ahead and assemble your storage unit in your patio without blocking the area where your new temple will be built.
